Also playing at the Civic in September is Monty Python's Spamalot. Tickets are on sale, so you should get them soon. It is only playing for a week, and the tour ends shortly after coming to San Diego, so this will be one of the last chances to see it! Tickets are onsale here

Playing through the end of August at The Old Globe Theatre is the pre-Broadway engagement of First Wives Club. It is always great to see a Broadway caliber show before it actually goes to Broadway, and to say you have seen it before almost everyone. More info here

Also at the Globe, is their annual Shakespeare festival, this year consisting of Twelfth Night, Coriolanus, and Cyrano De Bergerac (yes, technically not Shakespeare, but still good). Running through the end of September.

And at the La Jolla Playhouse, the smash Broadway hit "The 39 Steps". Alfred Hitchcock's classic thriller on stage as a … slapstick comedy consisting of only 4 cast members that play all 150 characters.

There is also Godspell from Lamb's Players at the Horton Grand theatre.

And don't forget Noises Off at Cygnet, running through the end of August.

Sometimes we take for granted how much of a really good theatre town San Diego is, so if you like theatre, you should try and catch one of these shows. There are many opportunities for less expensive tickets, so please, help support the arts. And these shows are just the tip of the iceberg.

We are very excited to announce the Meeting Times & Locations for the photos that will be taken at Disneyland on Sunday November 9th. This has info on how the group photos will work. Please pass this info on to anyone you think would like to know.

Bats Day in the Fun Park™10

MEETING TIMES AND LOCATIONS
FOR BATS DAY IN THE FUN PARK ON Sunday, November 9th, 2008

1pm @ in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle

3:30pm - The Baby Bats Photo, for parents and their kids only.
At the Sword in the Stone next to the Carrousel in Fantasyland.
(after the Sword in the Stone ceremony)

8:45pm @ The Haunted Mansion in New Orleans Square
(please see the important info below about how this photo will be taken)

Please make sure that if you want to be in any of these photos, that you get to each
location 15 mins before the time listed. The group photo for each location will be take approximately 5 mins after that time stated.
Disneyland will also be taking photos of the groups. If you would like to purchase or preview the photos I suggest that you pick up a DISNEY'S PHOTOPASS card. You can pick up one of these cards for free at the Main Street Photo Supply, which is located at the end of Main Street or from one of the Cast Members who will be taking photos. There will be a cast member at each of the photo meeting spots that will swipe your card once the group photo has been taken. When you are ready you can go to the Photopass building and look at your photos.

I have one of these cards and its great. You can also view your photos online up to about 30 days as well as purchase all of your photos online. Disney will mail them to you on a cd. Each of these photos will be high res for printing.

Important * 8:45pm Haunted Mansion photo information.* Important Please Read.
There will be mini group photos taken of about 25-30 people in each photo. They will be taken on the steps of the Haunted Mansion. You should plan to arrive at the Haunted Mansion around the fountain that is next to the Haunted Mansion at about 8:30pm.
At 8:45pm you, with your party, will start to line up to go into the Haunted Mansion queue area. Please be sure that your entire party is together before you get into line for the photo. That way you can be sure that you will all be together for your photo. To help move the photos along smoothly, if your group is too large, it may be split up in between photos.
There will be someone taking count of the entire group SO PLEASE WAIT FOR NOAH K TO TELL YOU WHEN TO ENTER THE HAUNTED MANSION.

During the count, while you are entering the Haunted Mansion, every 100th person
who gets counted will be handed a sign with a number on it. Please make sure that you
hold it up when your photo is taken. That is what number you are in the final group
photo. I wonder who will get the “999” sign.

You and your group will go through the queue and when you get up to the first pillar of the Haunted Mansion one of the Bats Day Staff people will tell you to hold your spot. This person will then have 25-30 people at a time come down to the steps of the Haunted Mansion to take the photo.

Disney’s Photopass team will be taking this photo. Once the Photopass team is done taking the photo, Noah will signal you to enter the Haunted Mansion. You will enter the Haunted Mansion by taking the ramp that is located next to entrance to the foyer of the Haunted Mansion.

Of course, the first time we ate here I was too full afterward to get it on. It was a shame, really, a man pays that much for dinner, he should get a little something out of it! Luckily, there was morning sex, I guess it made up for it cause he's taking me back there.
